3-Game Guarantee. Games will be held at War Memorial Stadium and surrounding fields. We provide baseballs and pay the umpires. Gate fee is $20 for the weekend or $15 per day!
Here's the rules for this weekend:
We are having lots of major changes to the schedule due to the rain today. The War Memorial games will be ok because it's a turf field but check because game times HAVE changed!!! We MAY have to make some changes tomorrow morning if the other fields do not come up as anticipated. As soon as we hear something, I'll send it out! ALL GAME TIMES HAVE CHANGED FOR TOMORROW SO PLEASE CHECK THE SCHEDULE AND PASS IT ON TO YOUR TEAMMATES!The staff at War Memorial have requested that ALL players wear turf or tennis shoes when warming up. Once the game begins, they may THEN switch to metal cleats UNLESS they are the pitcher - who will remain in molded cleats, turf, or tennis shoes when on the mound. All teams will play at least 3 games this weekend - 18U division will have 2 pool games on Saturday (fields permitting!) & then go into single elimination on Sunday (top 5 in the 18U pool will contend for the championship and the 6th & 7th seed will get a consolation game on Sunday). 15/16U division will play 1 game on Saturday which will be used for seeding; then we go into a 6-team single elimination for the championship. There are consolation games in the 15/16U division to ensure that ALL teams get their 3 games for the weekend.
